Rain Test Chamber

Rain Test Chamber

Product details

  • Minimum Testing Time :- 8 hours
  • Testing charges :- 600 INR per hour

Overview:

They are used to check the ingress of water. When water is sprayed in different direction and pressures. It has rotating test table to carry out different tests.

The system has multiple control solenoid to vary the water spray volume/pressure. The spray is actuated by programmable controller.

Complies with:

  •  Automotive standards
  • JISD023
  • SAE J 575
  • IEC standard 60529 ingress protection.
  • IS 9002 Part VI
  • JSS 55555 serial.

Features:

  • Workspace dimensions: 600 x 600 x 600 mm.
  • Temperature: Under laboratory atmosphere conditions.
  • The driving rain chamber is capable of spraying water at static pressure of 200kPA ±15% from 8 shower heads.
  • Static pressure heads are indicated nearest to shower heads.
  • Shower heads: It is possible to direct spray from four of these shower heads downwards at an angle of 45° at each of the four upper most corners of the equipment under test, and the remaining four shower heads horizontal at the centre of the area of four sides of equipment under tests without excessive over lab from the adjacent shower heads. It is also possible to adjust the location of the shower heads at such a distance that the intensity of the water spray will be equivalent of rain fall 250mm/hr. The shower heads are so designed so that water consumption is approximately 450Ltrs/hr at static pressure of 200 pressure kPA.
  • Timer: The spraying of water can be adjusted from 30 minutes to 2 hours or as a specified.
  • Base: The SS base can be rotated at the desired set speed.
  • Recovery: the external surfaces is dried by wiping with dry cloth or by applying compressed air at room temperature.
  • Final measurement: The equipment then is visually examined and is checked electrically and mechanically as specified.
